I didn’t bother to finish this book. Usually even if the performance was mediocre (think elementary school teacher reading to her class), I finish the book because I’m drawn to the characters and their stories. Both of these characters were very 2 dimensional. No real back story, no understanding of their personality type (i.e. was Logan gruff or just a real asshole to Valerie). I actually stopped after the sex scene in the back room which felt kinda rape-y. Valerie seems too naive and Logan’s just an horny asshole. There were no scenes where they’re getting to really know the other person and truly fall in love with them…not just their high school obsessions! I was very disappointed
