À propos de cet audio

He just saved the entire Empire (again).

Now, he's got to save a couple of scared kids.

Montana Coggeshall, freshly returned from the high society world of galas, birthrights, and the odd doomsday cult, doesn't have much time to settle back into normal life. He's promised to protect everyone who calls Coggeshall home, and one terrified family is caught in the wrong place at the worst time.

But what starts as a simple rescue mission quickly unravels into a web of strange disappearances, secret tunnels, and whispered warnings. A new monster may be stalking the valley. And it’s one that doesn’t just kill—it plays with its food.

As Montana digs deeper, he's faced with questions no one wants to answer. Who's been pulling the strings in his absence? What's hiding in the darkness? And why does it all feel so damn personal?

One Man's Laughter is a sinister, suspense-filled ride through the shadowy corners of Coggeshall. If you like your LitRPG full of creeping dread, brutal battles, and that signature Montana charm, this one's for you.

Another great book, but seemed to be lacking the typical Montana story. still 5bout of 5 though

Neil is the best as always.

while this book is essentially alot of set up or tying loose ends so to speak. the amount of time waiting on this addition wasn't worth it. the amount of time it took for the book to pick up as usual there was around 2 hrs left. I wouldn't have minded if the book stayed tying up loose ends like the first bit with world building. but to create vague loads of urgency for certain things at the beginning to then switch up and pursue a totally different problem that hardly heads into it until the last 2hrs (ch 80ish) was a massive let down, but no real resolution happens in this book apart from a single chapter where it gets stuffed in at the end. not missing anything a recap chapter in the next book wouldn't give you. love the series but it feels as if it's on the back burner and this was thrown at us to keep us sated and build up for when the author has time for the next addition or has more interest away from other projects. I like that there are multiple series in this timeline and world but it feels like the author is spreading himself thin with how many different series he has on the go. sorry man I hate writing negative reviews but this one took the wind out of my sails after realising there was a new book.. I could have skipped most of the book and got a summary, and all I would have missed is a tad of character development, similar to when you see an addition labeled previous book #.5(1/2) the start of the book could have lead straight to the ending cliff hanger and the complications that would entail and it would have felt like business as usual. Neil, good job as always.

drags on. dissipointing addition. switch up didn't help.
