À propos de cet audio
Gilbert Clapper is an IRS Accountant who through no fault of his own has become the most wanted man on the mob’s hit list. He decides not to run from them but rather to get his name off that list.
While on vacation Gilbert is injured and nursed back to health by a woman hacker who has developed a computer program that searches financial institutions looking for accounts that have had no activity for five years. When it finds one, it skims off one percent of the account and sends it to her bank account. While nursing Gilbert back to health, her program finds an account with a half billion dollars in it and no activity. It skims five million dollars from it which upsets an organized crime boss who puts a hit out on her. Gilbert is on that hit list merely through association with this woman.
Gilbert and she escape an initial attempt to kill them and then start searching for a way to get their names off this hit list. This task takes them to Atlantic City, Argentina, and finally Las Vegas. Throughout their journey, they must deal with hired killers and the heads of the West Coast mob. They somehow also keep their sense of humor and fall in love. Their plans of how this journey should go are rarely without incident but seem to eventually lead them to their goal.
