⚖️ This one is about Danica, a divorce lawyer who has landed her most important case yet. If she wins, she has a shot at making partner. The problem? Her rival across the courtroom, Ezra Hart. Dani and Ezra cannot seem to stop hooking up in secret. The worst part is that Dani, who had believed the cocky, confident Ezra was a playboy (Objection! Hearsay!), is starting to realize that there’s more depth to Ezra than what he shows in the courtroom. He might actually be a nice guy! Which would be dreadfully inconvenient as Dani has sworn off love completely. Can Ezra convince Dani to give him a chance? 🐈

⚖️ Loooved this book. Dani doesn’t believe in love, as she’s now had the rug pulled out from under her twice. Instead of allowing herself to be hurt yet again, she puts an impenetrable barrier around herself and won’t let anyone in. Until Ezra somehow sneaks in the back door (not literally… uh literally figuratively… not that 😆). But speaking of… the spice in this one was so good! I loved the tension between these two characters and the way they just couldn’t keep their hands off of each other. This one will be getting a shelf trophy! 🐈

🎧 The audiobook for this one was amazing! It was duet style 💜💜 The MMC’s voice was so deep and rich, I’ll be looking up Connor Crais in the future! It could be sped up easily with no distortion.
