I read the other reviews and it was actually a lot better than I thought when going into it after reading them. There were moments where you think that would never actually happen but then sit back and think about it and weirder shit has happened in real life.

I enjoyed the first book so gave this a try. It starts out strong but most of the book is brutal. I finished listening thinking it would surely get better but it kept getting worse. Wasn’t for me. I also don’t enjoy the MMCs voice, it sounds very old.
