À propos de cet audio

Pack's Queen is the epic, fast-paced conclusion to the Wolves of Crimson Hollow trilogy. Get ready for romance, action, and jaw-dropping revelations.

After a harrowing battle in Shadow Creek, Red and her allies defeated Valerius and freed his wolves. But the victory came at a great cost. Tristan was captured by the archdemon Harkon, and Dante's whereabouts are unknown.

Despite the odds stacked up against her, Red is determined to save her mates at any cost. Even if it means making deals with devilish creatures or working side by side with her ex.

Contains mature themes.

I’m done with this series I only listens to the first three because they we’re free and not bad but the last one you have to buy but I don’t feel that interested to invest in it, I’m ready to move on

Interesting enough just a little boring at parts

True, full-blown FANTASY VIBES with this book in the series, in particular, with many different supernatural entities at play. Love it, even if it is a lot to follow. You have to be engaged in listening to follow along. I end up having to go back a few seconds frequently to really *hear* what's being said.

Tristan James (male narrator of this series) is not my cup of tea.
The variations and fluctuations between the characters gets jumbled far too often and too severely, which takes much away from the story. Especially half way through the book and onward.
Virginia Rose (female voice) on the other hand, is amazing.

Male narration still bothers me, story is good.

OMG! I loved these books. I listened every chance I had and finished them in a week.

The story

The world-building is quite well-done in general and many of the secondary characters kept me listening. The main female protagonist is many times annoying and the male narrator is horrible (female narrator saves it). I sometimes had to fast forward to avoid Red's whining or the male narrator sabotaging the dialogue. Book 2 was horrible. I continued to Book 3 to hang out with Dante, Xander, Nina, Zeke and Sam's bandmates, who were delightful. Tristan is also annoying/weak and Sam can be such a toddler (although apparently it's supposed to be cute).

A mixed experience - worth a free listen
