À propos de cet audio

Police Constable Matthew Riley is called to an emergency on a blazing hot day in Langthorne. He is forced to read out these words live on police radio. Then he is shot dead. Someone is killing the officers of the Langthorne Police one by one. And in a sadistic twist he makes each victim push their radio panic button before they die, thus broadcasting their last moments to the entire force.

And as the police face this ruthless adversary, detective George Elms is in no fit state to help. He can barely keep his life together and is desperate to sort things out with his estranged wife and daughter. What is the connection between ruthless former officer Ed Kavski and the wave of killings? And can their boss Helen Webb do anything to stop the carnage?

This series is by far the best I've read in a long time. You truly never know what is going to happen next. Can't wait to start book 3!

I couldn't stop listening

Having got to the end of the second book and still there is no relief for the central figure in the book and the bad guys still winning, I can't be bothered to keep going with the series. if seems like the second unsatisfying end in the series and if every book in the series is going to be like that I have no interest in continuing. It basically seems like a very very long drawn out single book chopped into smaller bits just so the listener has to buy the next to find out what happened. I'm a bit fed up to be honest.

unsatisfying
