À propos de cet audio
I am writing this because I know you are tired. That is the baseline, isn't it? You love your kid so much it actually hurts your chest but you are just so exhausted.
I remember when I first realized my life was going to look different than I planned. I had this whole movie in my head of what parenting was supposed to be. It had distinct scenes. It had little league games and easy report cards and family dinners where everyone sat still and ate their peas.
And then reality hit and it felt like the film reel jammed and melted. For a long time I tried to fix the projector. I tried to force the movie to play. I thought that if I just parented harder or found the right doctor or read the right book I could get back to that script I wrote in my head.
That was the wrong approach.
