À propos de cet audio

Alex Carlisle owes a debt beyond cash. Once upon a time - all of three months ago - Alex found himself in a foreign land hunted by mercenaries and demon lords. Only the intervention of a sultry, playful jinn got him home again. Zafirah didn't help him for free. Now she's come to collect.

With her sights set on a dangerous family of ancient sorcerers, Zafirah needs every edge. She needs not only Alex, but the friends and lovers he brings with him. Her quest threatens to extract a price from angel, demon, and mortal alike...and most especially the witch who brought them all together.

the story was a great way to ramp up the danger from previous books. The relationships between the characters are always fun and exciting. I'm really glad to see each character gets some development, plus some new friends added to the mix. I'm really hoping the adventures don't end here...maybe they get to fight an elder god and their cult next?

A great next step!

Loved the first 3 books in the series except for the kockold with Lorelei in book 3. Made it maybe not even a hour into this one and I had enough with the political tone and everything else very sad to see the series end with 3 very good novels and crash and burn on the fourth.

Ruined a great Series

Books 1 - 3 were excellent. In Book 2, Alex said it right - he is a childish fantasy. But that's what's made these books so fun to read! Now we have an author suffering from TDS. Could barely finish the book, and I'm Canadian. I originally didn't leave a review out of respect for the authors original works, but now that I read book 5, I figured I would save other readers the trouble and tell them to stop at book 3. Don't bother with book 4 or book 5. Even Tess' narration can't save this one.

This is what TDS looks like in an authors writing
