Psychological suspense isn’t usually my thing, but the supernatural twist in this story hooked me right away. I listened to the audiobook, narrated by Angela van Breemen herself, and she did a fantastic job—her voice pulled me straight into David’s nightmares and the mystery around them. It always feels like a bonus when the author narrates their own work, because you know you’re hearing it exactly as they imagined it.

The plot has plenty of twists, but what surprised me most was the love story between David and Emma. Their connection adds so much heart to the tension and danger, and I found myself just as curious about where their relationship was headed as I was about whether David would solve the mystery of his past life.

Even though this isn’t my usual genre, I really enjoyed the mix of crime, supernatural suspense, and romance. It kept me listening right to the end.
