À propos de cet audio

How do you learn the philosophy of the Buddha, grasp its teachings, and apply them practically to your daily life to create lasting happiness, free from suffering? This book shows you how—using classical teachings, engaging stories, and contemplative practices.

Pathway to Freedom explores the Four Noble Truths, the Eightfold Path, Loving-Kindness, Compassion, and the Dissolution of Duality. It describes the highs and lows, pitfalls, challenges, and insights you are likely to encounter on your spiritual journey.

Dr. Lucinda T. Green began meditating at the age of sixteen in 1967 and never stopped. Having lived and studied in India and Sri Lanka, she founded Rocky Mountain Insight, a Buddhist Dharma and Vipassana center in Colorado Springs, CO. She is also the creator of the Enlightenment Deck, a set of cards designed to teach Universal Truths and guide individuals in their spiritual practice, offering inspiration along the way.

Ce que les critiques en disent

"When you read this book, it feels as though you are sitting at the feet of a great master, receiving teachings, practical guidance, wisdom, and the author's own sense of humor. You'll even sense the sparkle in her eye as she shares personal stories that will make you both laugh and cry with their relevance to your life, and to the universal human experience." —Rabbi Anat Moskowitz
