Pax! I love it! This was recommended to me a few times. I am so pleased to have ready such a heartwarming yet heart pulling story at the same time! I love the dual perspectives and the connections between them. The love of a boy for his fox and a fox for his boys, through trials and new challenges, was an adventure that took the reader along. Well done to Sara Pennypacker for the beautiful story! I highly recommend it, and I am looking forward to adding the second book to a future book list.

A Touching and Captivating Story!

I loved this book for so many reasons. The rich use of language describes the setting so well, I felt I was there. The characters are well-developed and grow on the reader The story is told from the point of view of the fox and the boy. It is more than a boy trying to find his pet fox. It was well-read and kept my attention the entire time. Although it is written for middle-grade readers, adults will enjoy it as well.
