I grew up hearing that “women are sooo moody and/or emotional on/around their period” and said in a way that made it clear that was a negative thing, and I internalized that, suppressing my emotions, especially around my time of the month.
Listening to this I am learning that those thoughts and emotions that seem powerful around my winter are quite likely my intuition and inner voice screaming to be heard, and I get to listen and honour them 🙏💕
This book will be a book on my shelf I revisit regularly!

I did love the more emotional, relatable approach to our hormones, the parallel to seasons and purposefulness of each phase. I also loved the embrace of our body as it naturally flows without being aggressive towards it. Sadly, I personnally cannot give this book a higher rating for it's very biased woke reiterating; which was not what I was expecting nor seeking.
