Great story. I think the narration really added a lot of depth to the characters

I found the audio levels uneven. Otherwise a fine recording. I was using it to sleep and it would occasionally get jarring loud.

The narrator does a wonderful job bringing the characters to life. Anne, Wenworth & Mary especially. Scacchi's Anne is delightfully playful with an abundance of warmth and mature self reflection. Well worth a repeat listen.

I liked it very much much, very good voice characterization, The story is gentle and good humoured like Anne Elliot herself but never boring.It is almost completely told in conversation and the thoughts of the protagonist sorry I. Pour a nice cup of tea and enjoy!

Jane Austen beautifully read

I quite enjoyed listening to this classic story. I think if there was a "con" to this story, it would've been the long empty spaces between some of the paragraphs. This should have been fixed in editing. Ms Scacchi's performance was warm-hearted and on point. I love Jane Austen's work. Ms Scacchi made this story come alive. I totally recommend this story!
