À propos de cet audio
In 2008 Darrell Keezer was laid off from his job with just $8,000 of severance in his bank account. Today he runs a multimillion-dollar online marketing company that has grown by 50% every year for the past five years - all without investor dollars, a loan, or a credit card balance.
Darrell's success didn't happen overnight, however. It took a relentless desire to build something awesome. In his latest book, Darrell not only provides guidance on how to start a new business - from the initial launch to finding that first customer to establishing a business structure - but also shares his top tips and strategies for building and maintaining a successful company. Whether you are a budding entrepreneur or experienced executive, Darrell's straight-talking, boots-on-the-ground approach will inspire you to take a closer look at the way you do business and Pick Up Your Freakin' Phone.

Entrepreneurs to CEO's.. an An+ choice
It's very rare to become good without first sucking or being mediocre at best. I think Darrell's book is for anyone who's interested, but not fully committed to being an entrepreneur yet. I'm not in love with the title of the book, but he makes a good point that most entry level entrepreneurs won't pickup the phone and call someone to make a sale. They'll delay, make excuses, text, email, etc... I think we can all learn something from Darrell's book because becoming an entrepreneur is going thru uncomfortable things that make you feel pressure. Pressure to make payroll, pressure to make a sale... pressure to fire someone, and only the most ambitious type of ppl that can handle pressure actually succeed. I'd highly recommend this book to anyone who's in considering starting a business or who are in one and need some guidance because he breaks down the startup planning and more advanced lessons on what it took him to become a pivotal CEO at his digital marketing agency, and lead a team of people.
