I found this book easy to zone out of. I wasn’t ever really captivated by the story. It just went by quickly but without me ever getting into the story or the characters. Not my cup of tea really. Other good hockey romances with more character development out there if that’s what you are into, like the pucked series.

I'm on chapter 13 out of 18 and the male narrator has not appeared even for a second. So not one minute of the MC pov. I depise dual narratives where the MC’s pov barely appear imagine my dismay of him
only reading the epilogue. Storyline was good and FL was fine. I only read dual or duet narrated romance. So l’m pissed. Oh and what kind of idiot journalist dumps a discarded story into the trash without shredding it first!

The obvious issue with the story is that goalie's don't get put in the penalty box...and as someone who was raised in a hockey arena, it was a pretty big error even though it was a very minor part of the story. The sub plot was wonderful and a bit surprising and added depth to the story. So good that I'll be reading the rest of the series.
