À propos de cet audio
From Masters of Doom author David Kushner comes Prepare to Meet Thy Doom, a compilation of true gaming stories covering many facets of America's biggest entertainment business: the video game industry. In addition to more than a dozen fascinating tales of game creation, play, business, and controversy, Prepare to Meet Thy Doom follows up on Kushner's previous best seller, Masters of Doom, with a long-awaited update on id Software founders John Romero and John Carmack.
©2015 David Kushner (P)2015 Audiobooks.com PublishingSimilar to Masters of DOOM, Wil Wheaton does a great job at narration. A bit funny to me that he did this since around 2014 (a year before this book's production) is when he developed a pretty profound and unwarranted profound hatred of gamers and gaming culture.
This could have been better and I think it's overpriced for what you get but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
Interesting but not a full story

Many of the articles focus on things that would have been passe even 6 years ago. Where doom is evergreen, something we enjoy even 3 decades on, I don't who is excited for the "scoop" on flappy bird, rock band, or neopets.
Will Wheaton (shut up Wesley) does a serviceable job as narrator, but some of his accents are cringe worthy.
Disappointing nonsequel, focused on forgotten fads
