My kids and I have recently started to commute to school, and we're listening to audiobooks to pass the time. While I found this one somewhat tedious, my 6 & 8 year old boys were mildly entertained. If the drive were longer than 15 minutes, it would have gotten old, but in small doses it was acceptable. Perhaps worth noting, the narration is in British English, so there was the occasional word I had to clarify, like Jumper and Loo.

It was not horrible.
