I really loved having a different type of FMC for the story, I was always looking at the grey feels, but this love story had me on edge. Especially when they would get so far and then get pulled back. She tried so hard, both of them. I was on edge hoping she'd get on the plane or be there unexpectedly. But it did take a lovely twist, which made him undertand her a bit more.

I loved it! I picked it up for a fluffy spice filler from the plus catalogue while waiting for another authors next series release. I was so wrong. I loved this story, being immersed into Katherine's broken world hit hard. Anxiety and PTSD are no joke but this really highlights the person behind the MH disorder. My only flaw was Athenas narration, her version of Niko, she gave him a strange tone/accent that was very different than Joe's version of Niko. It was hard to see them as the same character.
