What a ride, this story really brought me back to what my first relationship was like. Worth a listen, it is short but entertaining. The story reminded me of the turbulence of adolescence

Oh, young love! Overall, I thought it translated the first feelings and relationships very well. Now that my kids are teenagers it is a good reminder that everything is at a new level when you are 16. The performance is also nice, except for the voice changes, took some time to get used to Alex's "voice". For me, the book was refreshing and easily enjoyable.

Within r minutes I herd twice about how everyone in the town smelt like surf wax. I was waiting to hear that several more time. Main Character is not likable and seems as shallow as the people she complains about and all her actions are performative.
