À propos de cet audio

Severin Unck's father is a famous director of Gothic romances in an alternate 1986 in which talking movies are still a daring innovation due to the patent-hoarding Edison family. Rebelling against her father's films of passion, intrigue, and spirits from beyond, Severin starts making documentaries, traveling through space, and investigating the levitator cults of Neptune and the lawless saloons of Mars. But her latest film, which investigates the disappearance of a diving colony on a watery Venus populated by island-sized alien creatures, will be her last. Severin is a realist in a fantastic universe.

This is undoubtedly the best Audible experience I’ve ever had, and that’s including those oils with the mega casts of seemingly millions. The story was both engaging and tender, exciting and heart breaking. The narration was thrilling, evocative of the era, and absolutely enthralling . There aren’t enough stars for me to give.

Fabulous in every way

This is an homage to the early days of film, radio, and science fiction, although it doesn't seem like it at first. I was bothered at first by some of the cosmological inconsistencies, until I realized that more than history was altered in this universe. Eventually I became immersed in the mystery: what actually happened to the protagonist? In the end, the journey turned out to be the important thing, and I had to turn off my obsession with facts and enjoy the ride. It was worth it!

Steampunk? Fantasy? Definitely not Kansas!
