I wiped the sweat of my face and the fear that I felt in my dream was translated into reality when I noticed something on my arm. There were marks around my wrist that eerily resembled the exact spot Randy grabbed me. I wanted to fool myself and think that it was just a crazy coincidence, but I could clearly see the mark of his long fingers. I almost screamed when my alarm clock suddenly rang. It was time to prepare for work. I wanted to forget what happened that night, but the worst was yet to come.
I came home really exhausted after doing some overtime yet again. There were too many customers that day from morning till night, and I barely had any time to breathe. The weird thing that happened to me the night before had left my mind, but I was about to be reminded soon enough.
I was back on the same bridge where I was at last night, and there was Randy sitting behind the post once again. Because I remembered him scowling at me last time, I decided to ignore his brooding and just walk past him.
