Description

Waldo Packwood has had a rough time of things lately. He's lost his job, his friends, and finally his family. His trip is a struggle from the beginning, as he discovers more about those around him and what they're willing to do to keep Hector 1 to themselves. Instead of answers, he's cast into the fight of his life as he struggles to uncover the secrets and lies that have been built around this distant world.

Ok

Performance was more reading less performing but good scifi story. Different than the usual escape from apocalypse plot line.

Boring, boring,boring

It gives nothing away to reveal that this story includes extended descriptions of how to use a cable to pull one self forward. How to open a hatch. How amazing a random piece of mundane equipment is to the author, like rope. The parts that aren't pointless description are trying-too-hard emotional expositions. This is a terrible investment of time. Just don't. The narrator is okay, but at times breaks into a whiny tone or juvenile verbal posture. Maybe his performance is a reflection of the content. Whatever, just don't.
