Characters are slowly introduced and then they continue to appear in future stories. While this was true of Jaden, Max and Amanda in previous stories, it is more nuanced here. However, each book remains its own self-contained mystery, This felt like a slightly more grown-up Rebekah Girl Detective Series and my daughter loved it! Highly recommended for young kids who like mysteries.
She also thinks Gwendolyn Druyor is great at voicing the characters.
