Although I was initially disappointed that this wasn't a trilogy, that feeling quickly changed as I got sucked into this series. Five books will allow for this amazing High Fantasy series to be gracefully finished.
Awesome job, Mr Miller! I am impatient to read the final book 5. :)
The author, compared to previous books, shortened the chapters in 'Reckoning', which made the entire book fast paced. For someone who is irritated with multiple POVs, the shorter chapters accomplished what Mr Miller hoped for - there was no jarring irritation when POVs switched, just anticipation to continue and find out what happens next.
I will re-read this series in the future and have already recommended it to others.

Love all the books, the “main bad guy” had an ending I wasn’t super happy about so that’s why I gave the story four stars, beyond that it’s great and this book ties things together well

This story, this book, where to start it continues to amaze and throw curve balls, its MCs are such deep individuals with real goals, the POVs are well placed and the packing of the entire series has been great!!!

the series is just dissapointing. every plotpoint that I was anticipating just ended up as a dissapointing flop. the author has issues resolving major plot points and characters that they setup. I just dont recommend this series.
