Good stuff I’m a big fan of Gail’s runs on birds of prey and deadpool so I figured I’d give this a shot enjoyed it Felicia’s male characters do sound as little odd in they mostly sound like old men but still a great job

All I can say is get it!

Sonja is on an awesome adventure filled with action and anguish, rage and reckless abandon. She is her brash, arrogant self yet connects to those around her for any length of time with powerful bonds.

Strong supporting characters, each with their own fully realized personas, help direct Sonja down paths she does not wish to travel in search of an unseen and unknown destiny.

Red Sonja's closest friend in this novel is, as with any good Hyrkanian, her horse. This time it is a new horse, Sunder, who now needs his own novel, he was that good!

Felicia Day understood the assignment, bringing the characters to life for us all to enjoy. Vibrant to somber in moments, raging to whispers, the mood is always fitting for the scene. Her range was even better than I expected, a high bar indeed!

At no time in this audiobook did I feel any disappointment.

Long ago, I read a lot of Red Sonja novels and comic books. For nostalgia, I bought this book and I regret it. This is not the Red Sonja of old and having long flash back like references at the start of chapters really interrupted the story flow. The basic story outline is good but fails miserably on the details.

this was just bad red Sonia is barely in the book and when she actually finally does something in the book you don't care it jumps from character character by the time the characters connect you're already bored so yeah if you're a red Sonia fan this will disappoint you
