I finally completed the full series with audible yesterday. I feel like a piece of my world is missing without having the nerd herd to escape to during the every day hussle and bustle of life. During this series, I found myself anticipating Kalona's next narrative, longing for more Stark and Zoey time, and on the edge of my seat when the story would pivot to Neferet. Overall it was a fantastic guilty pleasure with a fun, engaging, emotional rollercoaster. I would have liked Caitlin Davis to narrate all the books, as the other narrators were not comparable to her. Thank you to the Authors for helping me continue to believe in magic, friendship, and the importance of loyalty.

The book before and after this are much better. There was way too much focus on the villains planning that was boring and led to nothing much. But the storylines for the heroes were good. Still worth a listen as a bridge to the next book. :)
