Description

Anyone can fall for her brother’s best friend...Tilly Logan fell for his enemy.

Football club lawyer Santino Rossi is known in the locker room as the two-month chump. For years, he’s been on a mission to find someone he can share his basil plant with and cure him of his former playboy ways.

Tilly Logan is a fiery, Scottish lass who didn’t bat an eye five years ago when a smoldering Italian pulled her into a nightclub bathroom. He was dark, dangerous, and exactly the good time Tilly was looking for - even if he worked for her overprotective brother’s team. But a lot has changed, and when Tilly returns to London five years later, only to find herself trapped in an elevator with the smoldering Italian, it isn’t a happy reunion. Especially because her brother blames Santino for her hightailing it back to Scotland in the first place.

Tilly doesn’t want a replay of past mistakes, and reconnecting with Santino is playing with fire. But if they keep their relationship a secret, it could be worth the burn.

Loved it, Loved it…. did I mention I loved it?!?

Amy Daws writes the best characters!! OMG, I loved having all the Harris family back and Mac and Freya!!! I loved how much they appeared in this book! This story had me laughing and some tears as well but WOW….. I can’t say enough about how much I loved it!! Tilly and Santino are perfect together. Both a little broken in their own ways. They both put on a good show for others. I loved every part of this book and can’t wait for the next book….. Eeek!!! Also can we talk about the narration in this book. It was my first time hearing Paula Costello and OMG, I love her!! Her accents were amazing and Will Watt was awesome as always. This is my favourite audio of the year!! Don’t hesitate, click the button to buy!!!

✫✫ 5 Stars ✫✫

Another great book by Amy Daws! I have to say this might be my new favorite! I loved Santino & Tilly's story so much. They have history which is a huge plus for me, they both have baggage and they have awesome chemistry. I also really enjoyed the Harris Brothers connection, it's like visiting old friends. This one will become a regular re-listen for me I am sure!

The narration was awesome! I always love Will Watt and Paula Costello's Scottish accent was amazing in my opinion!

Second chance with emotional history

Replay is part of the Harris Brothers world and is a stand alone spin-off. You can total read this as your first entry to the world, but honestly, with all the little cameos, it would be good to have the knowledge since it will make the book that much richer.

Blindsided is the book that introduces our heroine Tilly and features her brother Mac and his HEA Freya. If you were going to read one book before this one, I would say read Blindsided to get a little background on Tilly and her family that appear in this story.

Oh my poor heart.... these two were so broken even if they didn't realize it. But together, they healed and became all the better for it. But along the way there are still all the usual Amy Daws laughs.

Will Watt and Paula Costello were magic in duet narration.
The emotions, the laughs, the fire, the Italian!! I wish I had subtitles to know some of those heat-of-the-moment phrases that weren't translated as part of the story.

Santino (aka Sonny) & Tilly (aka Trouble)

*****Spoiler Alert*****

Audible review. DUAL POV. Duet style narration. Standalone but it seems like all of the characters are from previous books I haven't read. There are just too many snippets of characters and their stories from other books to hold my interest. I stopped after almost 3 hours because I was confused but continued on and finished it a few days later. The accents don't seem to fit the characters and I honestly can't even pin down where the accents originated even though the author revealed the characters' backgrounds. There is some untranslated Italian. I bought this book because it was the highlighted daily sale. I've never read a book by this author and am sad to say that after this one I can't imagine trying again. The author has a very strong social media presence and seems very kind and engaging. The leading couple in this book are: Santino (36, 37; aka Sonny) & Tilly (32; aka Trouble). Trigger warnings: pregnant woman on "modified bed rest"; drinking; drugs; intoxicated girl wakes up in an unknown man's bed with no memory of how she got there after her own friends encouraged her to take molly (MDMA), she finds out she's pregnant, returns to her family then miscarries; deceased grandfather; sobriety struggle; one bondage scene. Amazing!

This book has heat, humor, friendship, loyalty, drama, family, and heartbreak. Santino is so swoon worthy it is insane and Tilly is such an amazing strong female! Their chemistry is fantastic as well as explosive. Replay has twists, turns, banter and some that will make you gasp in shock. Can’t wait to read/listen to the next book after a certain bombshell moment was revealed. Paula Costello and Will Watt do an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life and humanizing them with their emotions, attitude and personality. They do more than giving their characters their voices, they fall into the roles and become the character.

Spoilers in Review

I'm not sure what it was about this one, but I just didn't enjoy it as much as all the other Harris/Harris-adjacent stories. And it's not because Santino was a hated character in previous books, I actually quite liked him. Can't help but like a man in a suit, and that is Sonny to a T, and probably why I was so drawn to the (original) cover. But I feel like there was too much taking place off page, too many time jumps (small as they were) and, this may make me hated among the fandom, but too many cameos by previous characters.

Lastly, that twisty/shocker. I feel like this book would have been a good end to the series. We have gone through the Harris family, and the oft-mentioned teammates, so it seemed like a good stopping point. But then we have the appearance of the love child. I just don't feel like it was needed. Or in my case, wanted. But, I love this author, and will likely read it anyway if she decides to write his story.

First review.

This is the first time I left a review. Awful story. I tried to work through it but just couldn’t. I should have returned it to get my credit returned.

Like sands through the hour glass…..

Kept listening hopping it would turn a corner and lose the mundane story line but alas….life’s too short to keep listening

Second Chance Love!

Another great story with awesome narrators! I loved Tilly and Santino’s story. Amy took us from not liking Santino to loving him (even when he pissed us off a couple of times). Plus we got to see some more of Mac and Freya!

The story was great, it made me laugh, and think deeply about the effects of situations has on people.
