À propos de cet audio
Thirty floors of nightmare fueled action. An ex-cop with nothing left to lose.
After losing his job and family, Flint Reed finds himself in the middle of a terrorist attack. With nothing but his wits and experience as a former Union police officer, he must do everything he can to stay alive.
As he soon discovers, however, there are also hostages, and no one is coming to save them.
All hope falls to Flint.
But as he fights to navigate the building, the real answers begin to unravel. What are the terrorists really after, and why are they so intent on getting into the vault?
Experience the beginning of the Resonant Son series. If you're a fan of Die Hard, Renegade Star, or the Last Reaper, you'll love this epic sci-fi thrill ride.

It’s pretty much die hard

If you can get past the unoriginality, Christopher Hopper and J.N. Chaney are quite good at choreographing and describing combat sequences.. but suck at dialogue, interpersonal relationships, "witty" banter, and plausible non-cartoonish SciFi. Virtually every aspect of this book has been done before (and better).
Fortuitously for audiobook consumers, reader Mark Boyett does his very best to elevate the book with a praiseworthy performance - backed up by exemplary technical support from Podium Audio. This is a great listening experience.
I was able to check my brain at the door and just appreciate this book for what it is: a silly adrenaline-fuelled action-adventure set in the future on a distant planet for some reason. If you can do the same - and set aside the eyerolling plagiarism - the book rates 3.5 stars out of 10. It wasn't a complete waste of time as a 'Plus' option, I guess.. but paying a Credit for it would be indefensible.
[Incidentally: it's not "Yippy Ki-Yay, Motherfucker", but "Toodle-fucking-oo, bitch" is a pretty good line when you throw the bad guy to his doom]
