this is a solid listen with a complex, but simple story, no magical AIs - yet- warp travel, varied species and most importantly loss that I think reflects what really happens in conflict.

our protagonist is flawed to shit, what I like about him, he's grown, adapted and been one of my favourites to listen to...

the action in the books grab you quick, add some political intrigue, some romance , the clash of alien cultures and this is hard to put down

Aeillo has become one of my favourite narrators and he does a great job, his eastern European female sounds Ike a girl from jersey, but I'm good with it.
