Description

After years of watching his children and grandchildren wander from their faith, Iddo's prayers are answered: King Cyrus is allowing God's chosen people to return to Jerusalem. Great read!

Upon reading this book I got my bible out and reread the book of Ezra. I was so impressed by the accuracy of this book and how it followed along with God’s Word. I kept going back to scripture amazed at how I saw it in a new light. Lynn Austin does an amazing job of painting a picture of the hardships the Jewish people faced coming out of Babylonian captivity. Hardships all believers face...the human condition of fear, temptation, idolatry, lack of faith, wanting to live in comfort rather than do God’s will. This is a beautiful book that I would highly recommend. I could not put this book down and it deeply moved me. I highly recommend this book.
