 A classic work of English mysticism, Julian of Norwich's Revelations of Divine Love is an account of 16 divine visions and her meditations on them. She puts forth her ideas of God as a lover or divine love.

Julian's revelations, experienced while suffering from a serious illness, may be dismissed as simple hallucinations or could be regarded as true divine visions from God. Regardless of what one might believe, "Revelations of Divine Love" is an important historical work of Christian theology.

This was a lovely audiobook. Great to hear Julian’s words.

PUBLISHER TAKE NOTE: Not organizing the book by its OWN chapters is infuriating and LAZY publishing. There is no excuse for not organizing the audiobook as the chapters are themselves arranged AND named. I hate paying for these things when I can PROPERLY see the way they were organized by the author. SHAME ON LAZY AUDIOBOOK PUBLISHERS.

This is an audiobook to listen to come back to over and over again. I think it's best to listen to a chapter a couple times and then meditate on Julian's revelations. It can be difficult to understand at times but each time I listened to it I gain more insight.
