Description

In a land devastated by plague, invaders, and lawless brigands, magic has all but disappeared, and the masses live in misery and depravity. But a strange young maiden appears with a powerful gift and a promise to restore the rightful king to the throne of Orloins and a magical order to the world.

A wild ride of a tale!

This story unfolds at a breakneck pace packed full of adventure and magic.
As a Book 1, it left enough intrigue for me to want to continue the adventure and see what develops next, while also giving a sense of completion to the main storyline.
The narrator did a great job of breathing life into the characters.
