I read all the books back when it was released. Re listened because I saw it was included with subscription. I still liked it but felt something missing. But still a good listen

The series is entertaining but I couldn’t help thinking that the mafia would have better resources to deal with the problematic money man than to expect college kids to have a fake relationship. Therefore, the story seems too soap opera-ish and drawn out. Yet, the writing flows well and the character development has depth.
