I like it but I’m wondering if lightleap killed reed whisker. Also I think berryheart is wrong because cats should be able to switch clans if they really love them. Also beginning of a NEW SERIES AND a NEW YEAR. Happy belated new year people.

Great story overall, I don't want to give any spoilers besides What My Title says read the book for yourself to find out what I mean but I give the book five stars

Great audiobook

I like the way this book has a different type of writing. Mac cloud Andrews has a great voice. Keep up the good work!

Great start to the series

This book was a bit slow paced but in a good way. We got to know our main characters well and understand the situation of the clans. I’m very excited for the next books in the series.

Eversince I finished the body snatchers series

I have been waiting for something out of the dark forest, this was a great book. although it would be nice to know a few things. I doubt I ever will find out. what was she doing in those bushes how did she end up with that hurt paw. what is river clan going to do now. when I read the reviews I thought something really drastic was going to have thankfully it wasn't as bad as what I assumed.

Good direction but the protagonists are passive

First of all, I like this new writing style. The characters are just more intelligent and have more context awareness in general. MachLeod Andrews's voice is great as always.

However... What I didn't like is just how passive the two protagonists are. I had alway hated multiple povs, in fact, the way that I read this book is to just listen to one pov at a time. Likes 3-6-9-, 2-5-8-.

Sunbeam - She is the most interesting protagonist in the entire book. There is a story here, and it's her own decision and will! It's like I actually got to read about someone's life.
Flamepaw - He 'could' be a good pov... But- despite his bitterness, he did nothing. Dear god. Why? He has every reason to be an interesting perspective but yet he isn't. At some point, he even got turned into a side character in his own chapter! Just to show what's going on in ThunderClan. And his failing assessment led to nothing! I wish he would just keep failing and leave ThunderClan. Now! That would be something I want to read.
Frostpaw - I don't have much to say. She is the worst. The most bland and boring chapter where the protagonist does almost absolutely nothing except stuck in their own head. Her entire story and RiverClan cats are laughable at most.

This book is barely worth 1 credit, but you pretty much don't have a choice since its an arc book. Book 1 too at that.
The writing is 'good'. But the protagonists are the 'worst'. Can Flamepaw get together with Sunbeam?
Oh well
I hope they write something good in book 2.

Stellar story

Love the drama and realism! Reminds me of the first arc! And thankful the story no longer about possession and bringing cats back to life!

AMAZING

i loved this so much. The storyteller was amazing and he gave the book so much emotion it was awesome. The ending is definitely super sad- i cried so much. But i loved this book :)

I've been reading Warriors since I was a kid and this is my first dive back into it in a few years. Andrews absolutely does a phenomenal job bringing the book to life.

The format was different and fun, telling three separate stories at once with small tidbits or information being sprinkled throughout. I was very pleased and have high hopes for the rest of the arc!
