The narrator chose to portray the character, Isaac Rivera, a 22 year old man from Seattle, with a voice that sounds like he's whimsically reminiscing with nostalgia every sentence. The portrayal is similar to that of a southern belle, or transatlantic actress.

Given the themes within the material, there is nothing whimsical or nostalgic about it.

Additionally the Québécois accent missed the mark and drifted into a Minnesota accent at some points.
