alright read

Story moves quickly. Narrator is awesome!

Loving this series so far!

After having just finished the worst ever RH series yesterday I was apprehensive about starting another one, but immediately got sucked in!

Finally a RH series where the lead character is over the age of 21!!! I was grossed out after the last series I read was about a bunch of 16 year olds!

I instantly found myself liking the different male characters, the lead female character is okay ( a little annoying with the slowness to except the mate bond) Or because or being cursed she’s more likely to sacrifice herself.
I’m hoping in the next book she becomes more confident in both her powers & relationships!

This is for you if you love Paranormal Romance!

This entire series had me feeling every emotion you can think of. The world is well developed. The characters are incredibly well developed as well as growing and changing appropriately throughout the series. The writing is really good, could use a little fine tuning but never leaving you with any ick moments.

It is an incredible love story with non-stop action. The story is ever moving in a forward direction and has you never wanting to put it down. Not to mention it will have you laughing out loud frequently.

While it is a reverse harem/why choose series, there is very little spice so it's pretty clean, like a 1 on the spice scale would be generous. But what it lacks there it makes up in the love and heart feels, 5/5 on that scale. Lol.

It's easy to listen to/read and I think would be a good fit for anyone into Paranormal Romance.

Made it through all books

I read all the books in this series, The story had some merit to it but there some difficult moments where I thought about fast forwarding. The character was hard to like until halfway through book three. I loved the male characters as they were well described.
I feel bad writing this as this book could be really good if the character was not so self-indulgent and spoiled sounding when really she had a horrible upbringing so her character did not match the story line.
I did enjoy the last book. Some of the first books, I almost fast forwarded through some.

Too much coincidence

Warning spoiler !
When almost 3/4 of the story is coincidence you might as well call it destiny or fate.
The main Female character meet separately in a super short time several male who know each other...and oh ! she live in the same building ! and oh ! she has a mystery objet they are desperately looking for... how do they know that ? she stumble on an import meeting, in the middle of the next door parc, while she is drunk and there is an open book with the illustration of the object she is actually wearing at the moment... (call me surprise...not).
On the other way her past seems interesting but undeveloped (it could be an interesting book).

Sorry but not a fan

I have read & listen to several reverse harem but this one was annoying. The story may have been good but the heroine is so whiny. She is whining the whole story. She is up & down about the mating issue. She will sleep with them but not make them her mate. All she does is whine & cry. I rolled my eyes more than I enjoyed

Couldn't Make It Past Chapter 3

This was pretty terrible. I have read and listened to many reverse harem greats so I won't settle for bad. Don't waste your credit.

disappointed

I was really looking forward to this book. but I couldn't get through much of it. it's way too fast pasted. and she very whiny. why does everything have to happen so fast and on that degree of excess. show it down stop forcing it

Almost Quit

She's a girl gamer!!!!! A girl who plays games!!!! Where did this angel come from?

OK, first, how does this lady have a job? How is she not completely mental? Tortured as a child and teenager, super bad luck, captured by another vampire and tortured and somehow has money to move to a new town? Did she even make it out of high school? Was her grandma rich?

Secondly, I would love to be able to orgasm like this chick. He touched my thigh and instaSPLOOSH! This is obviously an exaggeration but not that far off. How many orgasm can one have in what I'm guessing are five minute love making sessions?

Thirdly, where are the mothers?

Fourthly, Jolee might need to admit she has a drinking problem. Look, I like to have fun too but I probably would have taken a break from the booze after somehow stumbling into a park full of "other races" calling for the death of all humans. And then taking off the one thing protecting me from a vampire hunting me down, just so I can compare it to a picture in a book. I mean cripes, she goes to a party and the most exciting thing to her is that there's not just one bar but four. I just imagine the boys all chuckling nervously about how wasted their queen is going to get at a party with their dads and the elders.

I was literally yelling at this audio book in my car. Jolee is an idiot. The author explains her "selflessness" is due to the curse. OK, fine. I can get past her questioning what is right for her guards. But she asks some dumb questions. I would love to give you an example but my mind is all over the place with how poorly written this was.

The performance was meh. She honestly didn't have a lot to work with.

lazy writing

The writing just seems lazy they skip forward to just try to get on to the next thing and end up missing a lot of time in detail.

great audible but horrible story

This storyline just plan sticks. I think it could have been done differently to give it justice but I should have known tried to give it a real go but only about 40% done and I can't go any further. the characters suck also. there wasn't getting to know anyone and again I almost read half way. returning for a credit back. won't be finishing.

Pretty Good

I saw a lot of negative comments regarding the Narrator and to my surprise she isn't bad. What the issue is the Main Female is whiny and second guessed herself and the guys love for her to the point of annoyance. The writer did this and the narrator was just reading the way the writer wrote the story. With that being said, if you can get past the whiny-twiney crap the story is pretty good. I am about to go into book two. these really help pass the time while I work.
