The story is OK rambles a bit but overall moves forward at a decent pace. I enjoyed the story the suspense in how he would get caught and the end was predictable and likely could have been done a little better from the suspense side but overall a good story.

narrator was great. i say rough start as it almost lost me going cold into mind of a serial killer rather than easing into it, and transition between two main leads was convoluted until the story picked up steam. great listen, understanding it's entertainment and less grounded in realism

Richard Ferrone’s voices haven’t much range, especially when reading the women’s parts. They all sound rather vapid and monotone not strong as some of the characters should be. The tone used for the men’s voices has little variance and it was difficult to know which male character was speaking.
The plot was very good though.

The story was decent. A few areas that I wish I hadn't heard. However, the narrator was horrible!! You could hear him breathing. It also had a horrible flow from one chapter to another. I was expecting to actually hear him clear his throat. The worst part was when he tried to do a female voice. Like nails on a chalkboard. Now that I know the narrator's name, I will never buy another book with him reading it!

overall the book is a good one, love the part of how Lucas and the team was after the mad Dog but missed him.

Fantastic action. Fantastic drama. Fantastic writing and narration. I enjoyed every part of this book! Whomever was offended because it was written from the killer’s perspective is being small-minded. It was ALSO written from the police officer’s perspective AND the victim’s perspective!!! It is enthralling and I have started listening to the entire series.
