it's a nice story. I always find it disconcerting when a book is read all by a male voice. The narrator doesn't have a bad voice, in fact in another format or type of book, say spy fiction or as part of a duet, his voice is very soothing to listen to, but it's an American contemporary romance read by not an American, I want to say English accent, but he also may be Scottish????? his accent was very distracting, and the way he pronounced somewords.

the story was nice and yes, while a bit predictable has some interesting twists. I don't like the no epilogue, I generally decrease stars for no epilogue unless it has a really good ending. this one I felt could have used one or a better ending.

overall a good story, slow to start, low angst, worth a listen if you xan get past the narration.
