This was such a great read, did it as an audio and did not want to stop listening, the narrators were fantastic!

One phone call turns Sophia’s life upside town forcing her to return to the one place she swore she’d never set foot in, Poplar Falls…home. There she comes face to face with the heartbreaking reality of her dad’s replacement family and the time lost with those she loved. The last thing Sophia ever expected was to fall in love, especially with Braxton, enemy number one. But the more time she spends in Poplar Falls the less she wants to return to New York.

This book had me all up in my feels! My heart broke for Sophia and all that she had been through, but loved her strength and resilience! Braxton was this swoony grumpy cowboy (my favourite) that I just fell in love with. His and Sophia’s relationship was slow burn perfection and I just loved how he became her champion.

I loved the writing and all the secondary characters and just the vibe of this whole book! I can’t wait to read the rest of this series!

How beautiful this story was, it’s tight and drama free. Every character is the perfect small town character. Sofia and Braxton are just lovely and an excellent beginning to a small town series.
