The group was birthed out of the Jesus movement of the late '60s and early '70s but quickly departed from Scripture and eventually demanded separation from family and other outside influences. Kelly was totally convinced she was doing what God wanted her to do, yet found herself devoid of the joy and love she once experienced when she first committed to following Christ.
