Hi everyone, I took a 2 hour drive to Parry Sound. On the way up and down , I played this audio book. I was lost in imagination, on flying this plane. These crews were daring and knowledgeable on all the training and sim time they received. Great questions and the answers from a ex pilot truly leave us civilians astonished on the physical demands, they go through. A must read for aviation enthusiasts!.

I found this to be a very informative book about an amazing aircraft that I first saw at the age of 13. I went to the Abbotsford international air show in 1986, and saw the SR-71 on the ground that day. I was amazed at the shape size and in awe of the aircraft and the information they had at the air show about it. The next day at the world EXPO in Vancouver, I suddenly heard a large roar in the distance and looked up and saw this amazing aircraft fly over the EXPO grounds on its way back to its base in the US. As it started climbing away the pilot lit up the afterburners and it took off like a bullet. From that day forward I was a huge fan of the SR-71 Blackbird.
