Lee Jennings, our protagonist from Captured, Book One in the Chronicles of Bren series, is now a teenager working on his family farm. While in the field, a strange tornado sucks him up and transports him into a world of fantasy and adventure, where he is king. Led by a benevolent creature called the Voice, Lee, now King Leonolis, discovers the sacrifices that so many have made so he could rule. It is a story of triumph and heartache as he realizes the costs that have been paid to allow him to rule.

About the author: Dennis Jernigan is a songwriter and author, who, with his wife, Melinda, makes his home in northeastern Oklahoma very near where these stories were first inspired. They have raised nine children together and are presently enjoying their first wave of grandchildren. Known foremost for his Christian praise music, Jernigan has extended his creativity to the realm of authoring books. He says that fantasy reached him with hope during a very rough period of his life and feels a sense of urgency to write stories that will inspire others. The stories found within the chapters of The Chronicles of Bren are meant to be a legacy to the generations to come.
