À propos de cet audio
The “Salton Riviera” was a desert playground in the 1950s. Private boats and skiers dotted the clear blue waters. Celebrities drove in from Hollywood and mingled with upscale tourists at the resorts. Fast forward several decades. The Salton Sea is drying up, leaving the rotting skeletons of birds and fish in its wake and the only ones left are outsiders, outlaws, and those too poor to move. Howling desert winds carry toxic dust from the retreating tidelands.
Geoff “Mahalo” Mulholland is an inventor, physician, and helicopter pilot—and now he must solve his friends’ murders in a mysterious plane crash. His partner, geologist Diana Mulholland, believes the entire basin which stretches to the Gulf of California, is sinking. Caught in a turf war between cartels, ecoterrorists, and a forgotten Native American tribe over newly discovered lithium deposits, Mulholland must protect his family who are bunkered at his secret oasis compound high up the slopes from the desert floor. In the meantime, Mother Nature has other ideas. After years of neglect and exploitation—all hell is about to break loose.
