after that squicky, toxic relationship of the first three books in this series, I wasn't sure what to expect from this one. It's a huge improvement! all the amazing world-building, fun magic systems, and great side characters from the first ones without a relationship that began with attempted mind-rape! the relationship in this one was a little angsty, that's for sure, but it was at least fun. I really enjoyed this one and I need the next one immediately!

Great book by outstanding authors! These authors are in my top five favorite authors and they always deliver. This book is the forth book in the Hidden Legacy series and it's an awesome story of magic based in Texas. Thank you!

great story!wonderful romance captivated especially the three quarters through that you couldn't wait to see how it was going to end, but the ending was kind of a dud. I can't believe the ending ended the way it did.

Catalina is a worthy heroine, the story was a bit slow to start but it picks up and has a strong conclusion. The tone is very different to the first three books in the series but it's not surprising since the lead character has changed. The writing is fantastic and it was great getting to catch up with other characters from the original trilogy but it was a little disappointing that Nevada, Rogan and Cornelius were barely in this book. The Narrator was funny and engaging.

Honestly, if I had know what a total cliff hanger this ended on, I would have waited the 12 weeks to get it from the library. I certainly wouldn’t have bought this. By the time the next one is out, I won’t remember the details of this one. Grrr!
