A question that irritates me

The time in this book where the main character kills 10 people in the ring are they really dead or is it like those training grounds? I’m pretty sure that question hasn’t been answered. Maybe it has and I just didn’t remember the names if they are dead though why did he kill them and not The piece of shit who thought that a certain woman belong to him?

not as good as last ones

My son and I both enjoyed the previous books but this one was only meh. it felt like a short story stretched out to about 20 hours by adding a 12 hour training montage.
