I really needed an ending or answers to Gone With the Wind and this did not disappoint! However I feel like it is written with some large differences to how Margaret Mitchell would have, and I'm not crazy about the storyline taking Scarlett where she went (I don't want to give spoilers). But you can't expect a different author to write the same way.

This wasn’t gone with the wind but it attached to it perfectly. The characters are rich and complex. The new places gives the story different perspectives. I liked it and enjoyed it as much as the original story.

A very good sequel and goes all the way back to Ireland from where the O’Haras originated.
The details are marvellous and you have a feel as if you are there.
