I've read a lot of survival books and so far this is the best one. Many of the others are either too short, too vague, or read like bullet point lists. This book combines entertainment, quality, and quantity of information. He makes it accessible, without turning it into a doomsday story. Lessons learned within or useful in everyday life, and the general mindset is very positive and has a goal for continuous improvement.
