All the while, Cathy, Rekco, and Kyoku embark upon their own quests; Cathy begins preparations for a new plan to save the city; Rekco seeks to master his newfound powers, determined that they will lead him to his father and the truth of all things; Kyoku sets off to investigate a new threat—one far greater than any of them could imagine.
With the three of them now on separate paths, estranged from one another, both their friendships and their resolves will be tested. Will any of them have the power to break the binds of destiny and save Last Thesi, or is its fate truly preordained?
