I am a die hard Christopher Moore fan, and this sequel was long awaited. The first book, "A Dirty Job", was my first book by the author and hooked me! The characters are amazing, story line and plot are fantastic. I, personally, love the language as it's used - but I am ok with profanity... if you are not.. probably not the book or author for you.

I have listened to this twice now, and read it once. Everytime I find a new gem of some sort to laugh hysterically over.

To sum it up, take a chance in something different, or if you're a Moore fan already, it will 'rock your stripey socks'.

I'm a big fan of Christopher Moore and this title doesn't disappoint. Fisher Stevens might be my new favorite reader, the man nails it every time.

I loved "A dirty job" and had really high hopes for the sequel but I found it really lacking. the climax was extremely anti-climactic. Most of the story was very dry. I understood what Christopher was trying to relay with the mini stories but they were way to long and dry and didn't really advance the story line affectively. I would love to see a third book, but lessons need to be learned from this one.
